Hans Diebschlag
Hans Diebschlag is a painter who works mainly with oils and oil / tempera mixes using traditional glazing or overlay techniques. He paints figurative pictures rich in symbolism and detail, the subject matter often reflects an interest in the spiritual with juxtapositions of eastern and western stories and motifs.
Hans trained at the Staedel Art Academy in Frankfurt, Germany. For the last thirty years he has lived and worked in Sussex, England.
His work has been exhibited internationally since 1982 and his paintings are in private, corporate and municipal collections worldwide.
